This is rib 0 (a notional rib located at the aircraft centerline) produced with my new cnc mill. Learning the CAD and CAM softwares has been something of an uphill struggle, but I'm slowly getting there. After several fruitless attempts at tracing the profile from a JPEG upload (just too imprecise), I actually plotted out the rib using the ordinate tables in Paul Monforton's extraordinary new book. Once I've completed this fastidious task on all the ribs, I'll be able to loft them using a 3D CAD program and fabricate an accurate wing with a 2.5° washout from root to tip. The new mill worked as advertised, first time and without a hitch.
